Spring is back and I am so delighted.
From the high snow banks I have alighted.
Back to the walks I have sorely missed.
Air on my bare skin gently sun-kissed.
As my walk turns into a sprint,
I escape from the world of din.
The music drives my pace as I move.
My mind wanders with nothing to prove.
No makeup, no styled hair.
The road would never care.
The ground welcomes me back.
And no questions are asked.
