His tweets speak for themselves.
– Sean Spicer when asked about the Obama wiretap claim.
You know what it’s like to hear something and say out loud to no one in particular, “Did he really say that?” That moment occurred this morning when I saw a clip on Today of Spicer responding to a reporter.
There was a time when people were criticized if they didn’t stay informed by reading the newspaper. These days, I suppose I need to hang my head in shame because I don’t have a Twitter account.
How 1990s of me.
I have a Twitter account, but I’m pretty much avoiding it right now. That and pretty much everything else that involved 45. He’s gonna do what he’s gonna do until he’s stopped. Until that happens reading about it serves no good, helpful or useful purpose and it’s just too stressful.

It is stressful, isn’t it? Never felt that way with any other administration.

You know I’m really happy for? The comedians like John Oliver and SNL.
It’s just too easy.

Absolutely, and I’m so grateful for the comic relief they provide. The CEO of Twitter seems conflicted, though, when asked about Trump’s (ab)use of his service.

I have Twitter, but I refuse to follow him. It makes me too angry and I don’t want to give him a larger platform. Lol.

That’s interesting, Mo. He claims he uses Twitter to reach the people directly without the filter of the media. In reality, he’s only reaching his followers.
